A booking for Tunnel Tree tops Ltd is only confirmed when payment is made in full, either online, by card in person or via the telephone.

It is the responsibility of the individual to make sure they have booked the correct date and time.

It is the responsibility of the individual to ensure they have met the height (1.2m), are aged 6+ and don’t exceed the weight restriction (18st/115kgs).

 

Cancellations by the Company:

Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that the Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd course is available, the company will notify the individual of a cancellation as soon as practicable where it believes on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the activity. Individuals will be entitled to a full refund - or date change in the event of the company cancelling the activity, but will not be entitled to any other compensation.

 

Cancellations by the Individual:

A refund - minus a 7% admin fee - or change of date will be given to an individual if the cancellation is recieved by email or post with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the activity date. Refunds will not be given if cancellation is made within 48 hours of the activity date and time.

 

Terms and Conditions for Schools & Group Bookings

 

Acknowledgement of Risk:

Schools/groups need to accept that all individuals must be responsible for their own actions and safety and the safety of others on the activity.  Both the company and Schools/groups agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all concerned with the activity.  Members of Staff from the School/group must be available to supervise those attending the Centre at all times.  This also includes supervision during refreshment and toilet breaks.

The environment that the activities take place is a wild one which has natural hazards and risks.  All participants must at all times follow the safety instructions and ensure that the safety system is being used correctly.  All participants will be given a safety briefing by an Instructor prior to starting any activity.

 

Special Needs Groups:

Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd welcome groups with special needs. It is the responsibility of the Group leader to advise us of the group’s requirements at the time of booking.

 

Bookings & Payment:

To confirm a group booking, a completed Booking Form must be returned complete with FULL payment based on the initial numbers submitted on the completed Booking Form.

Staff will not be charged to spectate while participants are on the Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd Course.

Payment can be made via our online booking portal, by credit or debit card over the phone, or BACS where agreed by both parties. Requests may be posted to the registered office address: Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd, Axminster Rd, Charmouth, Dorset DT6 6BY, or by contacting the office on 07776 508 106.

Bookings are deemed to be accepted once the full payment has been received. For large bookings (more than 6 participants), organisation bookings or party bookings 25% of the fee will be classed as a non-refundable deposit. Should your group cancel more than 48hours before your booking you will therefore be entitled to a 75% refund. If your group was to cancel with less than 48hours notice no refund would be given.

If numbers decrease after the final payment is made, the payment will not be refunded, however if these changes occur before payment we will not charge for the balance of the cancelled spaces.

Final numbers and full payment of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the activity date. Any cancellations after the 4 week point are subject to the cancellation policy stated above.

Bookings cannot be made without accepting these terms and conditions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have booked the date and time and that they arrive with sufficient time.

Schools/group will be entitled to a full refund or date change in the event of the company cancelling the activity, but will not be entitled to any other compensation.

 

Liability:

The company does not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to any property belonging to School/groups whilst on site or participating in the activities.

 

Clothing Details:

Participants need to wear sensible enclosed non slip off footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather that day.

 

 

 

 

 

Gift Vouchers:

All Vouchers are deemed seasonal vouchers unless otherwise stated, in writing, from Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd. All seasonal vouchers are valid for special activities unless otherwise stated by Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd. The seasonal vouchers will state an expiry date, but all customers should be aware that the seasonal dates may be different and there may be times, such as business closures, when no activities are available to book. If you fail to book before the end of the season your gift voucher will be void and no extensions, refunds or specialised activities will be offered by Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd, even if the expiry date has not yet been met.

 

It is the responsibility of the individual to make sure they have booked within the valid date and time parameters of the active season before the expiry date is reached. It is the sole responsibility of the individual to make sure all terms and conditions are met and Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd accepts no responsibility for any information omitted, removed or not presented by the individual when gifting the voucher to a 3rd party.

The FULL value of the gift voucher must be used in a single transaction - no change, refund or alternative value exchange will be offered by Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd. if the full value of the gift voucher is not used. 

 

Tunnel Tree Tops Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without giving notice. It is up to the individual to check back periodically for any updates which may affect them.
